2026 Electrical Service Prices
These prices apply to homes across our service area in Riverside County and North San Diego County. Where a price is shown as a range, where your job lands depends on your home, and the main factors are explained below.
Main Electrical Panel Upgrade (200 Amp)
$4,000 – $6,000
Includes permit fees, stucco repair around the new panel, and a paint match, so the wall is finished when we leave.
Electrical Troubleshooting
$225

Service One Electric does not sell EV chargers. For a 240-volt / 50-amp mobile charger, we supply the EV-rated outlet as part of the installation.
Ceiling Fan / Light Fixture Replacement
$225
1 fan or fixture · under 10 ft
One fan or fixture is $225, our minimum call-out. Replacing two or more on the same visit? The discounted price is $150 each, so two fans are $300.

$1,500 – $4,000

Includes installing the electrical circuit to the unit with GFCI protection. We do not install the spa, hot tub, or Jacuzzi itself.
Prices last updated October 2026.
What Affects Your Final Price
Panel upgrades: where the panel sits, what the wall around it is made of, and what your utility requires to disconnect and reconnect service all affect the work involved. Permit fees, stucco repair, and paint match are already included in the $4,000 to $6,000 range.
EV chargers: the biggest factor is distance, meaning how far the charger location is from your panel and how the wire has to travel to get there (through the attic, along an exterior wall, or underground). If your panel does not have room for a new 240-volt circuit, a panel upgrade may be needed first and is priced separately.
Spas and hot tubs: the distance from your panel to the spa, whether the circuit runs underground, and the amperage your spa requires decide where the job falls in the $1,500 to $4,000 range.
Troubleshooting and fixtures: the $225 call-out covers the visit with up to 2 hours of work. Repairs that need more time or parts, and fans or fixtures mounted higher than 10 feet, are quoted separately.

FAQ
Electrical Pricing FAQs
How much does a 200 amp panel upgrade cost in Temecula?
A main electrical panel upgrade to 200 amps costs $4,000 to $6,000 with Service One Electric. That price includes permit fees, stucco repair around the panel, and a paint match. Where your job falls in the range depends mostly on the panel location and what your utility requires.
What does the $225 troubleshooting fee include?
The $225 fee is our minimum call-out charge for electrical troubleshooting. It includes diagnosing the problem and making minor repairs, with up to 2 hours allotted for the visit. More involved repairs can require additional parts and labor.
Do you supply the EV charger?
No. You purchase the charger you want and we install it, with installation running $600 to $3,000 depending mostly on the distance from your panel. If you are using a 240-volt / 50-amp mobile charger that plugs in, we supply the EV-rated outlet. Service One Electric is also a Tesla Wall Connector Certified Installer.
How much does it cost to replace a ceiling fan or light fixture?
Replacing one ceiling fan or light fixture mounted under 10 feet is $225, our minimum call-out. If you replace two or more on the same visit, each one is discounted to $150, so two fans are $300 and three are $450.
Do you install hot tubs and spas?
We handle the electrical side only. For $1,500 to $4,000 we install the electrical circuit to your spa, hot tub, or Jacuzzi with GFCI protection. Delivering and setting the spa itself is done by your spa dealer or installer.
Why do some services show a price range?
Every home is wired differently. The distance from your panel, the construction of your walls and attic, and what the inspector and utility require all change the amount of work. The ranges on this page reflect the jobs we actually do in the Temecula area. Call 951-521-2901 for a price on your specific home.
